Start with a photo-friendly composition

Leave enough room around the portrait and the event text. Avoid putting critical details against a busy background. Keep decorative artwork away from the trim edge and make the date and venue readable at the final print size.

Set useful photo expectations

Ask for a clear, well-lit photo of one person with an unobstructed face. Explain in your listing that an AI-assisted result can vary and may require another attempt. Use consented sample portraits when demonstrating the product.

Review before printing

Check the face, spelling, age, event date, time and address. A 5 × 7 inch image at 300 pixels per inch requires 1500 × 2100 pixels. Resolution alone does not establish print quality: inspect the actual file and follow the print provider’s bleed and crop instructions.

Describe the buyer journey accurately

Show the blank template, a clearly labeled example result and the steps the buyer completes. State that this is a digital invitation, what they can personalize and how they receive the file. Do not present AI samples as guaranteed identical outcomes.

Common questions

Is every result identical to the sample?

No. AI-assisted personalization varies with the photo and artwork. Buyers should review the result and sellers should test their templates before offering them.
