1. Define the product before the workflow
Choose the invitation size, editable details and output format. Decide whether the offer is an editable template, a photo-personalized invitation or a custom design service. Your listing images, description and delivery instructions should describe the same product.
2. Prepare one representative template
Use an artwork layout with space for the photo and party text. Test a short name and a long name, different ages and a longer address. A working preview is useful, but it is not a substitute for testing a purchase and download.
3. Choose the appropriate digital listing setup
Etsy distinguishes instant-download and made-to-order digital listings. Review Etsy’s current instructions and choose the type that matches your actual offer. Clearly explain any external personalization steps and what is in the downloaded file.
4. Export and inspect the delivery PDF
Generate the access PDF from the correct template. Open the PDF outside your seller browser and follow its link. Check branding, instructions and the template preview. Old delivery links should be retested whenever the purchase flow changes.
5. Test order registration and verification
InvitePro verifies that an order is registered for the seller before buyer generation. With the supported first-use flow, an approved order binds to the template when first opened. Configure the order-sync or seller-whitelist workflow and test it; this does not mean every Etsy listing is automatically discovered.
6. Measure exceptions as well as completions
Track how many orders finish without assistance, which photo inputs cause retries and where buyers ask for help. Expand the catalog after the first template works reliably across the full journey.

Common questions
Does automation eliminate all customer support?
No. Sellers still handle questions, unsuitable photos, incorrect event details and output review. A clear support process is part of the workflow.
