What the buyer should see first

Use a clear title such as “Access your personalized invitation.” State that the PDF contains access instructions and that the personalized invitation is created after the buyer follows the link. Avoid making the buyer search through promotional text to find the next step.

Explain access and verification

Tell buyers to have their Etsy order information ready. InvitePro verifies approved purchases against the correct template. Never invent an access code or tell buyers that sharing a URL grants another person a verified purchase.

Include a short review checklist

Before downloading the final invitation, ask buyers to check the name, age, date, time, location and portrait. Tell them which file they should use for printing and which details they should provide when contacting your shop.

Test mobile and desktop delivery

Open the PDF on a phone and a desktop. Confirm the link is tappable, instructions are legible and the destination shows the right template. Etsy currently directs buyers to use a browser or computer for digital downloads rather than the Etsy app; link to Etsy’s current instructions.

Keep the listing and PDF consistent

The title, preview and promised output should match the listing. Explain the actual service and choose the appropriate Etsy digital listing type. The presence of a PDF by itself does not determine whether an offer meets Etsy’s policies.

Common questions

Should the PDF contain a universal buyer unlock code?

No. Use the supported verified purchase flow. A delivery link is not proof of purchase.
